Families Living the Gospel
(Grades 1-6, optional)
- Up to two Families Living the Gospel reflection forms can be counted towards the Explore 4 expectation.
- You may also reflect on acts of service performed at home with an Explore 4 At Home reflection. Please only submit one reflection per act of service.
Families Living the Gospel acts as a “living” component of our Faith Formation program.
Families Living the Gospel teaches families about Catholic Social Teaching and the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy. Families are then encouraged to perform works of service and mercy each month, and complete and turn in a Families Living the Gospel Reflection form to enter their family in the Works of Mercy Challenge prize drawing. Completing FLG Reflections is an optional component of the Families Living Faith program.
It is our hope that this will enable our families to spend quality time together, learning about our community’s needs and become empowered to do something about it - to live the message of compassion and love proclaimed in the Gospel.
