Fundamental Spanish classes are offered in grades K-4 to better prepare our students for High School foreign language courses while, at the same time, enriching communication and acceptance of diverse languages within our community.
Kindergarten - Students will begin to learn the 12 basic colors,numbers 1-20, days of the week, months of the year, the alphabet, and 4 basic shapes.
First Grade - Continue learning colors,days of the week, months of the year, and the alphabet. Studendts will begin to learn basic greetings and numbers 1-50.
Second Grade - Continue learning the alphabet,days of the week, and months of the year. Students will begin basic conversation, learn the seasons of the year, weather, and count 1-100.
Third Grade - Continue learning the days of the week, months of the year, weather, and seasons. Students will engage in conversation, learn family members, basic commands, and animals.
Fourth Grade - Continue learning numbers 0-100, days of the week, months of the year. Students will begin the learn ar verbs, gustar, and yes/no questions.
