Mens Ministry

Our Mission

Through the Holy Spirit, prayer and fasting, we are strengthened and renewed in our Catholic faith. We strive to  become better husbands, fathers, brothers, friends, mentors, coaches and also servant leaders. Men grow by discovering, developing and sharing our God given gifts, establishing effective partnerships with like-minded groups, learning from each other and accountability while having fun serving others. Guests are always welcome to share a meal with us as we strive to enhance our spirits, discover and develop our God given gifts, establish effective partnerships with like-minded groups and experience the joys of serving others in need. Our small groups work because we respect and honor your confidentiality.

A Brief History

The St. Jude Catholic Men's Ministry program was started over twenty years ago and began as a "bible study". Bishop Kaffer, formerly the State Chaplin of the Illinois Chapter of the Knights of Columbus, inspired our leaders to start men's ministries in local churches. His charge, combined with the dedicated and passionate support from Fr. Don Bates and the visionary support from the "Fishers Of Men" in Joliet, allowed our ministry to benefit from many larger-scale men's conferences and leadership development opportunities. Ever since, our ministry has been a faith-filled mission to help men grow closer to God and connect in fellowship, while building disciples for Christ.
