Our beloved principal, Mrs. Luanne Watson is retiring.  We need your Input.

One critical aspect of the principal search involves eliciting the ideas of faculty and staff members, parents, and parishioners regarding leadership qualities that are necessary to meet the present and future needs of St. Jude Catholic School.  To accomplish this task, the Catholic Schools Office has designed an online community survey instrument.  The results of this survey will be studied by the Search Committee and will be used to create a Principal Profile that will inform the design of first and second-round interview protocols. You are an important member of our school and parish family.  I encourage you to share your thoughts with us regarding desired principal attributes by responding to this survey that may be directly accessed by accessing the following link:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/r/738MT9J

Responding to the instrument will require ten-twelve minutes of your time and the survey will be posted through midnight on Sunday April 2, 2017.  Thank you in advance for your assistance in discerning the next spiritual and instructional leader of St. Jude Catholic School

2017 Lenten Project

This Lent our community is participating in CRS Rice Bowl, a faith-in-action program that invites us to encounter anew ourselves, our neighbors and our God.  As we come together this holy season, it is especially appropriate to come together as a family, reflecting on the  role we each have to play in building up God's one human family.  Please join us in a special CRS Rice Bowl Stations of the Cross on Friday, March 31st at 7 PM in the Church, as we connect in prayer with our Global Community.

God touches the heart of the seeker, invites him or her to trust in His love and to pursue a relationship with Him. Through that relationship we grow in our notions of who God really is and in our ability to love. Our sinfulness diminishes as our relationship with Him deepens and He works in our lives. The third session of our series will look at what is involved in His call to service. We will look at becoming aware of our gifts and limitations. We will examine the spiritual idea of discernment and the ways in which God makes His will known to us. We will look at stepping out in trust in the face of fear to act in accordance with God's will.
All are invited.
