Providing health care for all citizens of the United States is a complex, multilayered issue and has become the source of many questions, concerns and heated political debate. The Peace and Social Justice Ministry is sponsoring an opportunity to learn more about components of this complicated issue.
The topic will explore healthcare spending in the United States, the fragmentation of healthcare delivery, the consolidation of the healthcare industry and the subsequent impact(s) on patients/consumers and physicians.
The presenter is St. Jude parishioner, Dr. Thomas Kim who is Chairman of the Department of Radiology at Advocate Christ Medical Center. He also holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
We hope to see you at this very timely and informative presentation.
The Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal (CMAA) helps our parish and the Diocese of Joliet provide countless ministries, programs and services to support our friends and neighbors in immeasurable ways. The Diocese is mailing information this month to all CMAA donors at St. Jude. Our parish 's goal for 2018 is $119,200. We will receive 70% of the amount over our goal for use in our parish! Together, we can continue to spread the Gospel message in our Diocese through our ministries and help God hold us in His hands. Thank you in advance for your support.
