Adult Faith Formation -  Grow in your relationship with Jesus through experience, reflection,prayer, and study.  

Altar Servers Students in Grades 5 - 12 are welcome to serve. 

Baptism Hospitality - welcome and assist the families who are bringing their babies to be baptized

Becoming Catholic - RCIA - learn about the Catholic Faith and what it means for you

Bereavement Ministry- assist in the consolation of parish members who are experiencing grief due to the death of a family member.

Bible Study - small group discussions on Scripture.  No experience or knowledge needed.  

Caritas - Help maintain the food pantry, distribute food baskets during the holidays, visit, and help the needy, elderly and shut-ins.

Catechists/Coaches share your faith with the children and youth of our parish.  Training and resources are provided. 

Children's Liturgy of the Word - children hear the readings from the Mass and homily in language that is age appropriate

"Christ Renews His Parish"renewal program conducted over a weekend to help individuals grow in their personal relationship with Jesus  and with others at St Jude.

Confirmation of Adults - a program for adult Catholics who were never confirmed, to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation

Council of Catholic Women - all women of the parish are welcome to join this group which offers service to the parish

Daybreak Shelter - help cook and/or serve food at the homeless shelter in Joliet

Divorce Support Group - For anyone experiencing or having experienced the trauma of divorce

Elizabeth Ministrysupport, encourage, and offer friendship to women during the childbearing years

Eucharistic Ministers - Lay men and women who assist the priest in the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass

Eucharistic Ministers of Care - pray, visit and bring the Eucharist to the homebound and nursing care residents

"500" Club - fundraiser to help generate revenue for the parish by selling 500 numbers 

Faith Formation Advisory Board -  members give council to the Director of Parish Faith Formation

Family/Children Faith Formationjourney with us learning about our Faith thorough our family structured programs. 

Finance Counciladvises the pastor on cost saving ideas, financial issues, budgets, etc. 

Funeral Brunches -  prepare and serve brunches for bereaved parish families following funeral masses at St. Jude

Giving Tree- annual Christmas project to collect and distribute gifts, food, financial aid to families in need in our parish

Grief Support - for parishioners grieving the death of a loved one

(Small) Gospel Groups - increase your appreciation and understanding of the Bible in small group settings

Junior Women's Club -all women of the parish are invited to join a warm and friendly group for spiritual, intellectual, and social activities. 

Knights of Columbus -  as a Knight, men organize and participate in service and fraternal activities 

Lectors/ReadersRead the first two readings, and the petitions at the Sunday Masses. 

Life in the Spirit Prayer Group -  learn more about living life under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through meetings, prayer, seminars

Marriage Encounter - spend a weekend together away from the distractions and the tensions of everyday life, to concentrate on each other to enhance communications

Marriage Preparation  designed to assist Engaged Couples in confronting the key issues which are so important to their growth and development as Marriage Partners

Marriage - Retrovaille -a program which helps couples put the pieces of their marriage back together and rebuild loving relationships.

Meal Angelsvolunteers who buy food, prepare meals and deliver them to  families who are unable to prepare their own meals due to health reasons

Men's Ministry - a faith-filled mission to help men grow closer to God and connect in fellowship, while building disciples for Christ.

Mission Trips The social mission of the Catholic Church calls us to be of service to our brothers and sisters in need. These trips are to various places in need throughout the country.  

MOMS - a ministry devoted to serving the needs of ALL MOMS with children of every age.in an informal setting

Music Ministry - Use your voice, or musical talents to enhance our worship - teen, children, and adult choirs, as well as handbells, and instrumentalists. 

Nanny Ministry  babysitters for various St. Jude events and classes

Parish Pastoral Council - Main advisory council to the pastor to plan for the parish's future by recommending policies, procedures and programs

Pastoral Care - a compassionate presence in imitation of Jesus' care for people, especially those who were hurting and in need.

Peace & Social Justice a ministry that responds to the immediate needs people face but ideally works to change the root causes of poverty, injustice and violence. 

Prayer Group - Life in the Spirit learn more about living life under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through meetings, prayer, seminars

Project Gabriel -  ministry within Respect Life.  Its purpose is to embrace women in need by providing immediate and practical help to women in difficult and/or crisis pregnancies.

Protecting God's Children Workshops - all volunteers over the age of 18 who work with children must complete a Protecting God's Children workshop.

RCIA  - learn about the Catholic Faith and what it means for you

Respect Life - the mission of the Respect Life Ministry is to educate and promote the dignity of life from conception to natural death

Sacraments - visible rites by which the sacraments are celebrated signify and make present the graces proper to each sacrament

Sacristans - role of the sacristan is to keep in order and to clean those items used at the celebration of the Mass and other liturgical celebrations

Seniors' Sociala social organization for everyone in the parish who is fifty years of age or older

Service Opportunities - There are many ways to live out the Catholic social teaching.  Sign up to help serve those in need.

Sewing Ministry - helps with occasional parish sewing needs

Small Gospel Groups - small groups gather to study the Sunday gospel readings in either of two formats - Lectio Divina or Bible study 

Squires - involves young men ages 10-18 in programs to benefit the Church, the community, as well as in recreational and social activities

Teen Hospitality Ministry  -  friendly teens and adults greet the junior high students at their sessions

Ushers/Hospitality -  lay men and women who help everyone feel welcome and comfortable in our Church

(Junior) Womens Club - women of the parish gather for spiritual, intellectual, social, and service opportunities

Young Adults - faith sharing and activities for young men and women between the ages of 18 and 39. 

Youth Ministry for Junior High- participation, faith, fellowship, and stewardship for 7th and 8th graders

Youth Ministry for High School -  faith-filled and fun activities for high schoolers and their friends
