Dates: Friday, June 29th 12:30 pm — Sunday, July 1st 7:30 pm 2018 (To maximize the impact for each person, participants are asked to stay the entire time; no coming and going, please.)
Location: Our home base will be Camp Sullivan (14630 Oak Park Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452)
Age: This trip is open to current 7th & 8th grade teens. We need adults (that have been through PGC to assist with driving (for one day) and helping serve and clean up a meal (once).
Cost: $85 (includes food, lodging, tee shirt, and transportation.
Description of the service: In groups of 9, we will venture out into the community to make an IMPACT! On “global” Friday, we will serve at Feed My Starving Children. On “local” Saturday, we will visit one of many local social service organizations (like Catholic Charities in Joliet, Su Casa Catholic Worker House in Chicago, Mission of Our Lady of Angels, etc.). On “@ home” Sunday, we will visit with and serve an elderly St. Jude parishioner with small projects at their home.
Transportation: We will use personal vehicles driven by approved adults to and from service sites.
Leadership: Participant groups will be lead by two adults and at least one high school leader.
What to bring: Comfortable and modest clothes to work and play in, gym shoes good for walking, modest pajamas, sleeping bag and pillow, toilettes and towel, water bottle, and a SNACK or DESSERT to share.
Fun Stuff: We will spend Saturday afternoon playing and exploring Millennium and Maggie Daley Park in Chicago. Friday night, we will play at Camp Sullivan with team games, competitions, silly stuff, bonfires, etc.
Family Involvement: We ask parents to help out once: with driving and participating in service sites for one day, or helping to prepare, serve, and clean up a morning OR evening meal. AND, all family members are asked to attend the closing family picnic at St. Jude (Sunday at 4:00 pm) and celebrate the closing LIFE Mass at 6:30 pm with us.

2. Print out, fill out, and turn in the permission forms
3. Turn in your forms and $35 deposit to the Parish Office ASAP (space is limited, sign up early to get a spot!). Remaining balance is due by May 1st.
