Saint Jude Athletic Programs

The Athletic program of St. Jude Parish School was established to provide a balance in our students’ total educational experience. Athletics can provide life experiences that range from social interaction skills to moral character development. Our program is intended to instill in its participants the values of good sportsmanship, honesty, self-discipline, self-esteem, school spirit and above all, the exercise of Christian values in competitive life situations. In addition, the program will encourage the further development of physical fitness that is necessary to maintain a healthy life.

All students who maintain the academic standards as prescribed by school policy are eligible to participate. All coaches are parent volunteers whose time and commitment is to be respected and appreciated. These volunteers attend training sessions prior to their coaching season. These sessions are designed to reinforce the philosophy of the St. Jude Athletic Department.

You say you'd Love to Coach or Need to Help Out at games!

One of the requirements here at St. Jude School, is that you not only turn in a background check form, but that you also attend a Protecting God’s Children class. The same class that many are taking to work the lunchroom, and any other volunteer work involving our students. You will not be able to coach or fulfill your worker's commitment, without this class; and any future classes may be held elsewhere.
