Dear Parents of 8th Grade Teens,
Way to go!  Confirmation is almost here! We pray that the past two years have assisted you in preparing your teen for really being "stirred by the Spirit" during this awesome Sacrament!    

The leaders of  KWEST (High School Youth Ministry) look forward to meeting you and partnering with you, so that during their high school years your teen will (1) continue learning about our faith, (2) deepen his/her  relationship with God and (3) live out his/her faith every day.  Many of the teens already involved in KWEST remember Confirmation as the moment that faith started to become important in their lives.  The VAST MAJORITY say that getting involved in KWEST (even if their parents made them) had a HUGE and POSITIVE IMPACT in their life!

KWEST offers fun and engaging events. Teens can find belonging (with a positive peer group), build relationships with caring leaders, come to understand the richness and practicality of our Catholic faith, and fall deeper in love with Jesus!!!

To do that, we want to get your input on issues and challenges that you face as a family (teen, parent, siblings, etc.).  How can we reach young teens where they are? How can we help teens to break down any barriers to God and church?

Please join other parents like yourself at our Parent Night Focus Group.  Fun, informative, and inspiring conversations between parents and leaders will begin from 5:00-6:30 pm on January 31st in Franciscan Hall Room 1 & 2.  Bring a neighbor or friend, but please leave your teen at home this time! They will have an opportunity for their own Focus Group on Feb 14th.

The Tacos for Teens Focus Group will be on February 14th from 5:00-6:30 (and we're trading Tacos for ideas).
