Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council is the main advisory body of the parish. It advises the Pastor to guarantee that the Parish Community will endure for future generations. The Parish Pastoral Council is made up of 12 parishioners. The purpose of the Council is to plan for the Parish's future by recommending policies, procedures and programs to the Pastor.
New members to the Pastoral Council were welcomed at the June 2009 meeting. They are: JR Robles, John Seper, Marie Sullivan, Melissa Versetto and Julie Witkowski.
The Council would like to thank those members who have served so graciously the past three years and whose terms are now up: Pat Allen, Bob Thompson and Sue Yaeger.

St. Jude Parish Mission Statement
We, the Faith Community of St. Jude in New Lenox, encounter Christ through the Augustinian principles of truth, unity, and charity. We provide a way for all to deepen our communion with Christ through lifelong intergenerational faith formation and evangelization. Adopted August 2008
